Anup Soni Deepfake Video: After many stars like Alia Bhatt, Rashmika Mandanna and Katrina Kaif, now Anup Soni, host of Sony TV’s crime show ‘Crime Patrol’ has also become a victim of deepfake. A video of him has surfaced in which he is seen promoting IPL betting and appealing to people to join a person’s Telegram channel.
Actually, in the viral video, some of Anup Soni’s clips from his show ‘Crime Patrol’ have been edited with the help of Artificial Intelligence (AI). Sony’s AI-clone voice can be heard in the clip in which he is promoting IPL betting. However, Anup Soni has called this video completely fake and has asked people to be alert about it.

While talking to India Today, Anup Soni said- ‘This is completely fake and we all have to be alert about how things can be manipulated. They have used AI to repeat my voice and speaking style and some clips. This has been edited from ‘Crime Patrol’ and is being used to promote match betting on Telegram. This is a fraud alert.

Let us tell you that before this, videos of Bollywood actors Ranveer Singh and Aamir Khan had also gone viral. In this, he was shown supporting a political party with the help of deepfake. Whereas Aamir and Ranveer had declared it completely fake, after which a complaint was lodged in the Cyber Crime Cell of Mumbai Police. Whereas Rashmika Mandanna, Katrina Kaif And actresses like Alia Bhatt have also fallen into the clutches of deepfakes.
